Urban Roots Grand Rapids
www.urbanrootsgr.orgThe mission at Urban Roots is to cultivate healthy communities. In 2013, Urban Roots began to explore how growing food could be used as a transformational tool in Grand Rapids. The team moved to our current home in the Madison Neighborhood in late 2015. With a move to one of the most disinvested parts of the city, our intention was to do the slow work of cultivating community together. Our community farm, market, and education center is now home to a wide variety of programs. From community classes to farm field trips, a fresh market to garden education, we invite you to dig in with us.
