SMACNA Greater Chicago is the Chicago area chapter of the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association—a trade association representing contractors in the sheet metal and heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) industries. SMACNA Greater Chicago works to create a competitive advantage for their members by providing educational opportunities; defining industry standards; and stewarding government affairs, community relations, labor relations, public relations, and marketing efforts. In addition to developing new business opportunities and protecting members' enterprise, SMACNA Greater Chicago collaborates with their union counterparts in order to facilitate fair agreements and settle disputes.
