Abbeyfield Bristol & Keynsham provides en-suite apartments to rent within it's 5 wonderful retirement houses in the Bristol area; offering the perfect blend of independence, support, privacy and companionship. Residents are able to rent their own self-contained flat, and enjoy home-cooked meals, the freedom to come and go; time with new friends, or privacy when they want it. Life becomes pretty stress-free. No more trying to maintain a home and garden, no more admin and bills to sort out. And no commitment to buy, thanks to a monthly all-inclusive rental fee, which includes delicious home-cooked meals and all the bills. What's more, residents and families have the added reassurance of an Abbeyfield team member on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Abbeyfield Society was established in 1956 by Richard Carr-Gomm, who recognised that many older people were living alone and feeling isolated in their own communities. Abbeyfield Bristol & Keynsham is one of several hundred member societies providing high quality housing for retired people, world-wide today. However unlike many member societies, Abbeyfield Bristol & Keynsham does not offer a 'care' service or care facilities. Residents tend to be fairly independent, are able to look after themselves, but benefit from additional reassurance, home-cooked meals, and an all-inclusive fee.
