Shut Up & Dance takes away all the reasons for not dancing! We strive to make Ballroom and Latin dancing accessible and affordable so more people can get into dance. Our made-to-order system means that we can significantly reduce costs, and pass this saving onto the customer. In the UK, the market average for a pair of dance shoes is £70, we have been able to reduce this to £30 per pair. All we ask for is a little patience as delivery can take around 3 weeks. We also provide free online tutorials and discuss dance-related topics in our blog so as to facilitate easier learning of dance. The business was started in 2015 by Maggie Chen whilst still at university. She saw that the barrier to entry for Ballroom and Latin dancing was very high, and wanted to do something about it, so Shut Up & Dance was created. After two years of hard work and international presence on Amazon, Shut Up & Dance was established as a company in 2017.
