The Fernandina Beach Police Department is the northern most municipal police agency in the State of Florida. The City of Fernandina Beach is located on Amelia Island in Nassau County Florida. The Fernandina Beach Police Department was awarded its initial “accredited status” by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation on February 9, 2005 during a formal recognition ceremony in Kissimmee, Florida.
