Since graduating from the University of Massachusetts in 2008, Samm has found a niche in the graphic design and photography community, while also working within not-for-profit and higher educational environments. Samm's design work has been featured within nationally and internationally-recognized organizations such as Mount Wachusett Community College, Hampshire College, UMass Amherst, the New England Development Research Association (NEDRA), oneZero Financial Services, and more. Samm also has an extensive background in writing, communications, and digital strategy. She has recently been recognized by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) with the Breakthrough Social Media Creative Excellence award, which honors best practices using social media channels to promote an institution’s programming to targeted audiences and shows evidence of successful reach and engagement. At the heart of her work, Samm has taken a particular affinity toward social justice causes and aims to provide accessible photography resources to under-served communities, including free or low-cost portrait and event photography services. Samm is available for photography shoots throughout New England and design / digital strategy consultation by appointment.
