Founded in 2019, Impact Naturals has applied our deep experience from the pharmaceutical, biotech, and research sciences to create a patented technology called CHYLOSOMA™ focused on using lipoproteins for oral delivery of pharmaceuticals and supplements. CHYLOSOMA™ is the result of over 30 years of research to create a better, more complete understanding of lipid transport systems. Historically, oral products with lipophilic properties were developed reluctantly. Hydrophilic products that dissolve in a test tube of water were the standard molecules brought to market.Plus, most lipophilic work focused on pre-absorption encapsulation like nano particles and emulsions. While those might boost absorption they don’t address a key problem: entry into the portal vein and the risk of metabolism - the "first-pass effect". Our research to date has shown that CHYLOSOMA™ demonstrates the ability to control the formation of chylomicron lipoproteins in intestinal tissue post-absorption.
