Established in 1966 with the name “Akademi Minyak dan Gas Bumi”, PEM Akamigas is a polytechnic that is managed directly by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (KESDM) of the Republic of Indonesia. Located in Cepu, Central Java, Indonesia, PEM Akamigas now has 5 applied bachelor study programs. PEM Akamigas' vision is to become the best energy and mineral polytechnic in Indonesia and have international standards. This campus is chosen by several oil companies and several oil-producing regional governments to prepare their human resources.
