Banks Rowing Club is dedicated to the promotion of rowing and the development of the physical, mental and moral of well-being. We are located along the banks of Melbourne's Yarra River and offer the sport to varying levels of experience from club to elite grade athletes. In 2016, we celebrated our 150th anniversary making it us of the oldest sporting clubs in the country. Our club was originally formed by the big four banks in Melbourne to pull their workers out of pubs and bars and into sporting hobbies.
