The mission of the Al-Van Humane Society is to compassionately serve the companion animals and owners in our community by providing the best possible shelter, adoptive homes, education and resources available. We serve Allegan and Van Buren Counties, which are located in south western Michigan. Our shelter is located in South Haven, Michigan. In 2013, Al-Van received one of Michigan Pet Fund Alliance's 2012 Outstanding Performance Awards as the Most Improved Shelter.
