Action Bolt (Pty) Limited was established in 1983, was bought by the international Würth Group in 2006 and is one of South Africa’s largest fastener distributors with a semi automated distribution warehouse holding approximately 26 000 stock holding units at any point in time. The Action Bolt Group is the South African portal for fastener, power tools, hand tools and hardware for the African continent. In terms of capability, we are able to provide sustainable stock control programs revolving around bespoke and specialised computer software designed in-house for optimal stock control. The “Boltpac” information technology (IT) program, may be used as a standalone system or in conjunction with our distribution networks such as Kanban and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) systems. Head office is situated in Durban which is the primary import and export facility in South Africa, this gives us the advantage of operating a centralised and rapid response distribution network with overnight delivery capability to most regions in South Africa. Branches are situated in Johannesburg, Eastern Cape and Richards Bay together with retail shops in Durban and Richards Bay.
