Like many individuals and providers we have lived through the ever changing landscape of healthcare. We have watched co-pays grow from $20.00 and $30.00, all the way up to $60.00 per session. Health care plans have gone from no deductible to thousand dollar deductibles. Please understand, We are not trying to criticize any insurance company. We simply see the pain felt by both the patient and provider alike. We have watched people scrimp and save, while sacrificing the care that they need based on financial restraints. As providers, we see people suffer needlessly because they cant afford the care they need. Providers like individuals, have financial limitations as well and it's often those financial drawbacks than hinder their ability to help the individual. Out of this frustration our group of providers, made up of Psychiatrists, Counselors, Social Workers, and Doctors have come together to forms the Wellness Card Discount Program for mental health and addiction services.
