Karadi Tales is an award winning independent children's book publisher from Chennai, India. Established in 1996 to create a space for Indian culture in mainstream kid lit, the organization was a pioneer in the children's audiobook market. Karadi Tales picture books have sold rights to several countries including North America, UK, Spain, Italy, Japan, France, China and Indonesia. Karadi Tales was shortlisted for the London Book Fair International Excellence Awards in the category Audiobook Publisher of the Year in 2019. Karadi Tales was shortlisted for the Bologna Children's Book Fair Best Publisher (Asia) Award in 2017.
