pedis.uop.grThe Department of Political Science and International Relations (Psir), University of the Peloponnese, is a relatively new but highly active academic department, offering a degree in Political Science and International Relations, in addition to an extensive postgraduate study program leading to Masters’ and PhD degrees in Greek or English language. The aim of the Department is the high quality education of its students in the fields of Political Science, International Relations, International Political Economy, International and European History, Culture and Philosophy, Regional Studies and New Technologies. Both of the department’s undergraduate and postgraduate curricula keep pace with dynamic developments in the complex political, social and economic Greek and international environment. The Department is located by the seaside city of Corinthos, approximately one hour driving from the center of Athens, but is also accessible by coach or suburban railway, including a direct train from Athens International Airport. Psir also operates additional teaching and office spaces in the seaside city of Kiato, approximately fifteen minutes from its main location.
