The national road safety center was established in October 2018. This center is part of the road safety projects within the National Transformation Plan 2020, which focus on reducing road trauma from road accidents. Our goal is to improve road safety standards through stakeholder coordination, providing the required technical support, prepare and implement a road safety database and specify a method for collecting the required data. This system will contribute to providing detailed road crash analysis reports and digital crash maps which will identify hazardous locations, as well as providing national road safety performance indicators.
