Two Feathers was founded in late 2012 when Elvira Björkman and Nicklas Hjertberg discovered a common ambition to write original music for games. Since then they've composed and produced soundtracks for a various known game titles such as Warhammer Vermintide 2, Angry Birds 2, Wraith: The Oblivion - Afterlife, Toca Boca titles as well as indie successes such as the beautiful stealth game Aragami, the old Gauntlet-inspired dungeon crawler Hammerwatch, and the VR-hit Apex Construct etc. From studying music, game design and sound design, Two Feathers have developed an organic style, with authentic recordings, soundscape experimentations, and memorable melodies that sets the game-experience first and foremost. Knowing how game development works from the inside, being able to implement through code, engine and middleware, as well as having a good understanding on when to use memorable motifs, when to only provide atmospheric tunes, and how to interact with the player in a dynamic way, have become just as much a key staple of Two Feathers style as the music itself. With several years of experience working within the games industry, starting as QA and sound designers, how, when and where we we play music in our games is something the duo of Two Feathers have grown to become specialists in, from both the technical and creative aspects of producing, performing to finally reach the players ears and heart. In Stockholm, Sweden, they have their own music studio that provides recording possibilities for both simple and big, including a larger live-recording hall due to finish its construction this Autumn. From here they consistently co-operate with highly experienced mixers that work from the same facility to get that extra final touch on the quality, and invite professional instrumentalists to perform on their soundtracks.
