The 3D CGI Course at Bournemouth & Poole College has been training CGI graduates for over a decade and have placed students in over 100 companies including many of the big games, VFX and visualisation companies such as Codemasters, Double Negative, Framestore and Visualhouse.Students can study to Foundation Degree level and then top-up to a BSc with an optional placement year in industry. In the FdSc, we offer two main pathways: Modelling & Animation and Architectural Visualisation. When you enrol on the BSc top-up there are three specialist routes – Motion Capture, Character Design and Architectural Visualisation. We offer excellent facilities with 5 hi-spec computer suites and have cutting edge resources including two inertial motion capture suits, a hand-held 3D laser scanner, 340 core render farm, 360 degree cameras, twin camera drone – all of which are incorporated in our coursework and available to students for use in projects etc.
