Earth Review

www.earthreview.org

“Earth Review” is an educational website. The vision of our website is to explore the natural resources of the earth by writing and sharing articles related to Soil Science, Environmental Science, Hydrology, Coastal Studies, and Disaster Management. Now we will define every sector of natural sciences below: Soil science is the study of soil as a natural resource on the surface of the Earth including soil formation, classification and mapping; physical, chemical, biological, and properties of soil fertility; and these properties in relation to the use and management of soil resource. Environmental science is the study of the effects of natural and unnatural processes, and of interactions of the physical elements of the planet on the environment. Hydrology is the science that encompasses the occurrence, distribution, movement, and properties of the waters of the earth and the relationship to the environment within each phase of the hydrologic cycle. Coastal geography is the study of the constantly changing region between the ocean and the land, incorporating both the physical geography (i.e. coastal geomorphology, geology, and oceanography) and the human geography (sociology and history) of the coast. Disaster Management can be defined as the organization and management of resources and responsibilities for dealing with all humanitarian aspects of emergencies, in particular, preparedness, response, and recovery in order to lessen the impact of disasters. In a nutshell, all of the natural resources are interrelated to each other. So we have to learn at least the basic of all of the branches of natural sciences.
