The Rural Business Group works to raise the profile of rural business and community organisations across the UK, in our market towns, villages and hamlets. Rural businesses contribute significantly to UK economic prosperity but are often overlooked and their impact is largely underestimated and underacknowledged. The businesses we support are not only economically significant, but the impact they have had on ensuring our communities have continued to function throughout the pandemic has been widely documented, importantly keeping things moving in terms of social cohesion, community wellness, sustainability, becoming agents for change and for innovation.
