ArtWave is an Arts for Health and Wellbeing initiative based in Vienna. Our mission is to bring the power of creativity and the arts to increase health and wellbeing in individuals and society in this moment of great transition. We meet people where they are with artistic moments focused on beauty, authenticity, and inspiration and work in both the online and offline space. The ArtWave App is a digital tool-in-development allowing access to high quality arts content (video and audio) tailored to feeling, energy state, and artistic preferences. We advocate for replacing 10mn of news, social media, or other online intake with moments of art to soothe, uplift, inspire, or provide a microdose of beauty and meaning for mind, body, and spirit. “Aufatmen”, a breathing and music program for Long Covid is our current offline project, in collaboration with Arts for Health Austria and Ludwig Med. As a start-up, ArtWave identifies with new models of social entrepreneurship: innovators creating social impact combined with economic relevance.
