Over the last 7 years, our company have been pathfinder in engineering load bearing structure using natural limestone. Pushing this reliable and sustainable material, the Stonemasonry Company has build on a partnership with structural engineering firm to implement pioneering technology, post tension, pre tension and re inforce structure. We have now produce more than 15 self supported staircases. From technical drawings to the final piece of work, our unique know-how will embrace your idea. It could be a simple bolection fireplace surround, hand-made in our workshop, or an intricate custom-made cantilever (or hanging) staircase for a Victorian/Palladian/Georgian mansion, all work produce 60 min north from London in our traditional workshop.
