IBSOM formed to support schools in Michigan throughout the IB application process, to share our IB expertise, and to create an environment conducive to the continued growth of our students. Furthermore, IBSOM strives to: - Improve University recognition of the IB curriculum - Spur legislative action in support of the IB and our work with students - Serve as a liaison between IB schools and the MI Department of Education - Offer symposia and informative sessions on a variety of topics concerning the PYP, MYP and DP - Continue to develop the learner profile attributes within our schools
