Swiss Community Mexico (SCM) is a non-profit organization established in June, 2018 in Mexico City. In 2019, the Swiss Community Mexico merged with the Asociación Empresarial Mexicano Suiza A.C. (AEMS) to foster a stronger relationship among the Swiss and other European communities in Mexico. Our mission is to build Swiss community and entrepreneurship in Mexico by serving active professionals in Mexico. In doing this, we seek to augment the communities together with the Swiss Embassy and the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in three specific ways: (1) serve as a launchpad for Swiss entrepreneurs (2) offer a soft landing for Swiss nationals (3) develop a networking platform for all Swiss in Mexico To translate this mission into action, we will be organizing community events focused on: (1) Business events with guest speakers or workshop facilitators, (2) Cultural events promoting Swiss traditions, gastronomy, and art, and (3) Charity events to help serve people in need in Mexico.
