Gorizia Interporto is an intermodal platform on the border with Slovenia, specialized in fresh and frozen food logistics for Central and Eastern European market. It offers different services to goods with deposit and consolidation of dry, perishable, fresh and frozen goods also in customs regime. Gorizia Interport is also a certified safe and secure truck parking area. Several services are offered to truck drivers that are useful to make more secure and also comfortable the quick or long stop in the parking areas. The intermodal terminal, located on the border between Italy and Slovenia, represents a cross-border service for goods delivery and storage and road-railway and vice versa modal shift. The junction is linked to the line that connects Gorizia to Udine-Trieste and Vrtojba Nova Gorica.
