The American Society of Interior Designers advances the interior design profession and communicates the impact of design on the human experience. ASID is a community of people driven by a common love for design and committed to the belief that interior design, as a service to people, is a powerful, multi-faceted profession that can positively change people's lives. The ASID Washington Metro Chapter was created when the Society was established in 1975. The chapter encompasses Washington, DC, Maryland and northern Virginia. Our chapter has over 900 members, included students, emerging professionals, professionals and industry partners.
