I partner with organizations, advisers, non-profits, and sponsors to empower their employees through education meetings - whether individual or group. Continuing to work in the industry while I teach in higher ed will keep my teaching relevant and potentially allow routes for students into our qualified plan field via internships or introductions. I teach on MWF, so Tuesdays/Thursdays are open for meetings, as well as mid-December to end of January and all summer. So, certain times in year, travel is not a concern. I know not all advisers enjoy employee meetings or the large recordkeepers may send a newer employee who only knows enough to deliver the presentation. My ideal client would recognize the value in my showing up and ensuring a strong relationship with employees. I have no advisory business, so I am focused purely on education rather than competing for adviser business. My fees are based on number of participants, meetings, and locations.
