The proliferation of connected devices and mass digital media consumption has established a base of ‘always-on’ consumers who engage in mobile games, social media, immersive experiences, and e-commerce. The democratization of tools and technology, paired with open digital platforms, can further enable the creation and distribution of better, cheaper, and more diverse IE.
