RTF (Raising the Future) are a series of field trips for children aged 8 – 12 years old to learn about tech-related jobs of the future. The world we live in now is very different from the world of 10 years ago, and the world in the next 10 years will again be radically different. With AI, AR, machine learning and the exponential rate of growth in software development, technology is changing the way we live and work. No industry is untouched by the use of tech and digital. With this in mind, RTF was developed in 2014 with the view to give young children live access to senior executives in rising industries to learn how technology is shaping their business, learning what challenges they face, and what type of skills are needed to thrive in those jobs.
