The aim of NAEF is to bring the highest western standards of education, completely free of charge, to some of the world’s poorest and most deprived children, who would not otherwise have the opportunity to receive any education at all. Broomwood Hall School, Wandsworth, London SW12 has embarked on a project to build and run a school in Gondar, Ethiopia. Fully financed by contributions from both within the school and from outside sources, St George’s School opened its doors in March 2014, to its first 100 children, aged 5 and 6 and has since grown to 200 students.
