Founded in 2018 by Caroline Royce, a Minneapolis-based Art Director, Graphic Designer and Photographer, Northerly is a print journal celebrating the seasons of the north through the food, gathering and the outdoors. Northerly favors the aesthetics of nature and food, and our relationship with our environments and the land. Advocacy: Northerly is inclusive of all races and genders, and seeks to bring more equity to the world of outdoors-related media. Northerly is also dedicated to the fight against climate change and that is included in its editorial voice.
