The NVTA is a not for profit Association that is focused on a single goal: " Improve the Quality in Training delivery by supporting the key element to success - the Trainer!" Membership is not yet compulsory, but the industry itself has been asking for support for its trainers and the NVTA has been formed to not only supply the support but maintain the professionalism and Quality in training delivery on the whole. There are many organisations that work to support Registered Training Organisations (RTO's) and the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector as a whole. The NVTA is focused on the Trainer. This may a person working in an RTO delivering Certified Training, or a person working within an enterprise that delivers internal training. It may be a person who is an industry specialist who delivers training or information sessions to the broader public or their own Industry groups. Basically, if you are at the cold face of training delivery then the NVTA is here for you. The NVTA is reducing the burden on Trainers and RTO's by supplying a registration process that enables the Trainer to deliver anywhere, anytime with the confidence of knowing they meet all the compliance and/or Industry requirements they need. This is particularly important for contract trainers that deliver across a range of RTO's and for RTO's who engage a variety of contractor, casual, part time or full time trainers. The NVTA has worked with ASQA to ensure that the evidence collected and made available to RTO's meets all of their requirements. Hence, come audit time, Trainer compliance is the least of the RTO's concerns and they can focus on the other important elements of the business. The NVTA has also started creating strategic partnerships with other organisations that can supply Trainers with the tools or support they need to deliver Quality Training. This includes Travel, accomodation, electronics, insurance, stationery and other equipment.
