BACKGROUND As a response to the widespread anxiety and disinformation surrounding the 2020 election cycle, longtime entertainment industry producers Julie Hermelin and Mary Ann Marino joined forces to launch Wake Up & Vote, connecting high-level creators with front line political organizations, strategists, and campaigns. Starting off as a connection hub for creators and political organizations, Wake Up & Vote quickly expanded to in-house campaign creation and production, producing original campaigns and content with their 400-strong creator network.
