I hear the excuses people invent to avoid their fear. A man who had a phobia of his own teeth. A woman who said her truck had exploded in her driveway. A man who said his turtle was having babies. These are the excuses we use to avoid life. They work – they do the job. They hold us back. They keep us from achieving what we want in life. I want to live life as large as I can – and help you do the same. I’m a pilot, and a near-crash taught me a lot about what happens when you think you’re about to die. I’m sharing my story and experience through writing, speaking, and reaching out to the world to help us all find the courage beyond our fears.
