The Greek DRG Institute’s mandate is to introduce an objective, fair and transparent, activity-based system of costing and reimbursement of Hospital Services. Based on global best practices and experience, we aim to develop, establish, monitor and update a Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG) patient classification system, respectively tied to a Hospital Services Costing System, intending to achieve an optimal allocation of resources throughout Hospital Care Providers in Greece.
