www.dwoskinfamilyfoundation.comThe Dwoskin Family Foundation, a 501 (c) (3), was founded in 2001 with a mission to fund and provide strategic advice on a range of philanthropic efforts in the U.S., state of Virginia and the island of Jamaica. Mr. Dwoskin’s philanthropic efforts both as an individual and through the Foundation are largely concentrated in the areas of: • Education and the Arts: Mr. Dwoskin served on the George Mason University Foundation (1998-2007) and was a major donor to Sidwell Friends School of DC, the College of William and Mary Foundation in Williamsburg, VA and the Wolf Trap Center for the Arts. • Historic Preservation: efforts have largely centered on the Mount Vernon Historical Society, and the Woodlawn Foundation coordinating the restoration of the Frank Lloyd Wright House, part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. • Healthcare and Community Services: Mr. Dwoskin is closely involved with Inova Health Systems and is seeks to promote pro-vaccine education and awareness to underserved communities in the Virginia area. He has also been involved with community services for the youth of Virginia, serving on the Board of the YMCA of the Metropolitan Washington, DC area. • In Jamaica, as a result of his generous efforts and contributions and his love and commitment to the people of Jamaica, Mr. Dwoskin was honored with the American Friends of Jamaica Philanthropic Award in 2018.
