Turner Flowers is truly and old-fashioned family business, made up of a mother-father-son team. Father (Lyle) and son (Shawn) have degrees in agriculture and floriculture, and they take care of the floral design needs of the shop. Mother (Kathy) had over 15 years of experience in banking and takes care of the accounting needs of the store. All three of us work together to purchase and display products for sale in the shop, assist customers with special events, and promote our business to the community. We base our business model on fair prices and excellent customer service, and are able to call most people who come through our door by name. We encourage customers to be involved with the floral design process, choose the flowers that will be used and allow them the chance to see their flowers arranged, as opposed to many shops who keep their design counter in a back room away from the public. We also enjoy offering classes in floral arranging, wreath-making, etc. for the members of our community.
