Society for Media & Suitable Human-communication Techniques (SoMaSHTe) is a non-profit organization that employs media and communication to transform the lives of the poor communities by creating a pluralistic media environment enabling them to raise their voices. SoMaSHTe promotes human rights, good governance, gender and other social issues to foster sustainable development. Established in 2005, the organization works alongside media to create wider spaces for the unheard voices so that more care is given to protect the world around the poor and marginal.
