Chicago Center for Arts & Technology

www.chicat.org

The Chicago Center for Arts & Technology is focused on the power of unifying communities, the connection between art and technology, and the benefits of engaging and teaching in an inspirational and beautiful environment. At CHICAT, we educate and inspire youth through free arts and technology programs. We empower adults through free job training programs that help them find sustainable employment. We elevate the talents of the community through transformative arts studios, industry-driven vocational training, and a beautiful space to unify the communities we serve. United, our communities will become stronger, ignited with hope, opportunity and vitality. We strive to make an impact in our neighboring communities—North Lawndale, Little Village, and Pilsen—to help our students change the future. An important part of CHICAT’s educational commitment is to reach and teach individuals who experience barriers to academic achievement and/or sustained employment. We believe that we all deserve access to the resources necessary to provide a higher quality of life with socioeconomic stability, interpersonal and professional development and gainful employment.
