Established in 2013, the team currently comprises of 25 students from different disciplines including Mechanical and Electronics & Comm. Engineering who work together to build a racecar that can compete in different Student Formula competitions across the country. Currently, the team competes in SAE Supra. SAE Supra is a design and engineering challenge for university students run by the Society of Automotive Engineers India. The goal of this competition is to design and build an open wheel, single-seat racecar conforming to a stringent set of rules, which emphasize drivetrain innovation, safety, and energy efficiency and safety in a high-performance application.
