www.connecting-dreams.orgConnecting Dreams Foundation - Hindu Chapter formed in 2015 is a youth-led entrepreneurship initiative that persistently strives to improve the lives of underprivileged sections through entrepreneurial action. It works under the guidance of Connecting Dreams Foundation India (parent organization) and it's completely administered by the students of Hindu College, University of Delhi. We at CDF aim to empower the youth and women in rural India through Connectivity and Entrepreneurship.Celebrating the spirit of social Entrepreneurship while working for creating a positive impact is the value we impart. Recently in the CDF: Dream Awards 2020, CDF Hindu's Project Vridhhi bagged the 3rd position in the category Dream Project of the Year. It has various ongoing projects named Project Kilkari, Project Vriddhi, and Project Dream Library and in the past completed its Project Apna Tech Tree(ATT). •CDF Hindu College is successfully worked on its ATT project in Lahchauda village in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh after showcasing significant ground impact in all the earlier villages with CDF India. It is in partnership with Gandhi Samriti Darshan Samiti, Indian Agricultural Research Institute and Lakshmi Jan Kalyan Sewa Sansthan seeked to connect the village with other villages and with the cities by providing an appropriate technology. • CDF Hindu started Project Kilkari in September 2019 and it's been a great success since then. Project Kilkari aims to teach unprivileged kids of the society through the help of volunteers. In only 4 months operation, Kilkari pathshala Hindu has seen a great success and heading towards achieving it's objective of impacting the lives of children and developing them holistically. • Keeping the spirit ongoing, in Nov. 2019 ,CDF Hindu launched it's autonomous flagship project PROJECT VRIDHHI which intends to expand the horizons of the street vendors who are unable to get proper earnings due to lack of resources. Vridhhi erected on the foundation of upliftment, aims to assist this sector by adopting a paramount approach wherein their products would be marketed at our platform, they would be supplied with hand made business cards and promoted by different social media influencers and bloggers. • CDF-HINDU started it's project Dream library in January 2020. It aims to provide books for reading to unprivileged section of the society also aims to establish libraries in small schools which don't have a library facility for students and to create a reading culture within school students. Other than the projects undertaken by CDF it also keeps on contributing its part to bring about a change in the society by taking up short term initiatives.
