Founded in June 2010, The Moth magazine is a quarterly printed arts & literature magazine featuring poetry, short fiction and art by established and up-and-coming writers and artists. It is the home of the world's biggest prize for a single unpublished poem, as well as annual short story and art prizes. Our sister magazine for children, The Caterpillar, was launched in 2013 and has featured work from the likes of Michael Morpurgo and Frank Cottrell Boyce. The Moth Magazine Ltd. also runs a stunning retreat for artists and writers in rural Ireland. Each issue of The Moth afeatures two interviews – with the likes of Sally Rooney, John Banville, Paul Muldoon, Dan Rhodes, Kamila Shamsie, DBC Pierre, Helen Oyeyemi, Colm Toibin, Lionel Shriver, Tom McCarthy and Eimear McBride. We are very proud to publish the work of new and up-and-coming writers and artists alongside that of more established names.
