Founded in 1915, Mississippi State University's College of Business is the oldest college of business in the state of Mississippi and one of the oldest in the South. The college is one of 568 colleges of business worldwide fully accredited at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and one of 171 colleges with accountancy accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB – International). The College of Business offers degree programs that lead to bachelor's master's and doctoral degrees. In developing its degree programs, the college has the following objectives: to provide a general education in addition to professional preparation; to build and strengthen communication and problem-solving skills; and to prepare graduates to meet the challenges of an ever-changing society.
