Our mission: Math 4 Success aims to customize the approach to teaching mathematics by using an innovative approach to identify students lacking math foundation. This method has been proven to build a strong math foundation that can further boost students confidence, enhance comprehension of the material, and ultimately bring students success in math. Our Motivation: Founder, Dr. Leron J. Lightfoot’s vision in creating Math 4 Success is to provide the best, most flexible math prep program accessible to students all across the greater Detroit area. The motivation for starting the Math 4 Success program is to help students from disadvantaged backgrounds achieve success in math. Dr. Lightfoot was a student from a disadvantaged community of South Los Angeles. He was able to achieve a perfect score on the SAT math, a full academic scholarship to Xavier University of Louisiana and a full academic fellowship to graduate school at Michigan State University where he received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering. Dr. Lightfoot saw the importance of math in his academic journey and believes that despite the environment, math can be taught to all when given the proper resources, structure, and a program customized to each student's unique background Why Should You Choose Math 4 Success?
