GSMR is an independent community platform of professionals from various industries in the Arabian Gulf who aim to elevate the standards of excellence in the fields of maintenance, reliability and asset management. Since 2010, we’ve established a hub of knowledge creation and exchange in the region, with ambitious plans of achieving our mission through interactive seminars, dynamic workshops, training and certification, regional forums, and global conferences. In early 2008, we identified the need for a regional entity to represent maintenance and reliability professionals in the different industries in the Gulf. Hoping to expand their network, 26 professionals from major Gulf companies came together and founded the Gulf Society of Maintenance Professionals (GSMP), which later transformed into the Gulf Society for Maintenance and Reliability (GSMR). We’ve come a long way since we’ve incepted: our nonprofit organization is a leading industry hub for maintenance, reliability and asset management professionals with an ambitious road map ahead. By promoting knowledge and excellence, we believe in addressing, responding, and adapting to changes in the industry.
