Marine Surveyors Brazil started in 2007 as TMS, in Rio de Janeiro, founded by Naval Engineer & Captain Carlo Rolla, Italian National formed as Master by Italian Maritime School and as Naval Engineer by Italian Navy Academy, who decided to stablish himself in Brazil after several years commanding Cargo Ships and also installing port terminals all around the globe. Back then, TMS focused on doing cargo, ships, yachts and sailboats inspections, but the demand for other services as bunker surveyors and the growth of the offshore industry in Brazil required the company to take a new direction. In 2014, TMS became an offshore industry focused company and three other companies were born from it: The Bunker Surveyors, doing only bunker and sludge surveys, Project Cargo Care, which embraced cargo & supercargo demand and Marine Surveyors Brazil, taking care of ships, yachts and sailboats inspections and audits. Working independently or as a customer’s representative for ship owners, managers, brokers, charterers, shippers, local agents, P&I clubs, insurance companies and other inspection companies and with a coverage in all South American ports and terminals plus partners all over the planet, our company has stablished long and close term relations with our customers by offering both a prime quality service from office to inspection and a competitive price.
