PSL Consulting is owned and operated by Puneet Luthra, who has over 15 years of experience in government relations, policy development, issues management, stakeholder relations and government revenue generation. Prior to establishing PSLCI, Puneet led the government relations department at Indspire, a national charity focused on advancing the educational outcomes of Canada’s Indigenous students. While there, revenue from government sources (federal, provincial and municipal) grew from approximately $6M in 2013 to close to $15M in 2017. As the Associate Director of Government Relations for Earth Rangers, Canada’s largest environmental children’s charity, Puneet secured over $6M in funding through various federal, provincial and municipal government sources; and as the Manager of Government Relations for Big Brothers Big Sisters Canada (Ontario), Puneet secured $1.5M from the Government of Ontario to support expansion of the charity’s in-school mentoring program. In addition to his success in securing government funding, Puneet has negotiated contribution agreements and contracts, established and maintained excellent working relationships with both elected and non-elected government officials, and advocated for policy change at various levels of government. Puneet’s “The Non-Profit’s Guide to Increasing Revenue and Influencing Decision-Making Through Effective Government Relations” e-book is available on Amazon.com and was designed for non-profits that seek to more effectively engage with government to increase revenue and affect policy change. PSLCI's current clients include the Casa Laxmi Institute, Movember Canada, and the Centre for Education and Training.
