Lin Shengjian, the founder of Taizhou Shengda Plastic Machinery Co., Ltd. In 1995, building on his technical know-how in hydraulic systems, Mr. Lin saw an opportunity to build a large Extrusion Blow Molding Machine. By seizing that opportunity, he opened his business to larger markets and soon the small workshop expanded to a large factory. By 2002, after seven years of experience working with extrusion blow molding machinery, and with an increasing number of customers expressing their satisfaction, TAIZHOU SHENGDA PLASTIC MACHINERY CO., LTD was established. The capacity of the company grew to the point of being able to produce huge extrusion blow molding machines. In 2008, SHENGDA began to service customers outside of China. Growth and progress continued and in 2013, SHENGDA set up its own mold workshop, with strong connections to both upstream and downstream companies in the blow molding industry. In 2011, we began R&D into the possibility of producing collapsible water containers. After a year and a half of research and development, we set up the production line. In 2012, we began to market our collapsible water containers. Already we have sold SHENGDA collapsible water containers to more than 20 countries, including USA, Germany, France, New Zealand, Australia, Syria, Kenya, Malaysia, Japan, and the UAE. In 2015, the ICRC officially appointed SHENGDA as a long term supplier. By 2016, more than 700 SHENGDA extrusion blow molding machines were running in different customers’ workshops. Those workshops are found in a range of industries including packaging, educational toys, plastic traffic carricades, hospitals, aquaculture, mannequins, logistics, gardening, agriculture, and more. SHENGDA has an 80% market share of the blow molding machines used in China’s educational toy and traffic management.
