Muslim Aid Sri Lanka has been operating in Sri Lanka since Tsunami devastation in 2004. We have responded to most of the emergencies in the country including the Muttur and Manic farm IDP crisis in the north. Further Muslim Aid Sri Lanka is working mainly in the Northern and Eastern Provinces in Sri Lanka with the resettlement programme by providing permanent shelters, educational and livelihood support, water and sanitation, healthcare facilities etc. Muslim Aid Sri Lanka is specialized in providing emergency relief including food, shelter and medical support; capacity building through water, sanitation and health programmes; education and skills training; micro- financing and income generation in addition to providing specialist programmes such as orphan care, as well as supplying practical help. Muslim Aid assists communities in examining the causes of poverty and underdevelopment, and in advocating for a more just society and a sustainable future.
