Laura Mannes Design is the culmination of my experience as an antiques dealer and interior designer, along with my earlier work in advertising/television production. With a collector’s passion, style to spare and eagle eye, I opened my antiques warehouse in 1997, selling fine and decorative furniture, lighting, rugs, and objects. When a burgeoning list of clients retained me as a design and decorating consultant, the antiques business organically segued into a comprehensive interior design company with both residential and retail commissions. I bring my extensive knowledge of design periods, furniture, art and antiquities to each project. From American Federal to mid-century modern, along with a dose of kitsch from any place or time, my understanding and passion for various design styles informs and illuminates my work. I believe my signature is a mastery of the mix, and combining various styles in a clean, cohesive, completely modern way. Your home should make you happy and reflect your lifestyle and individuality.
