www.digiwizkits.comDigiWiz is passionate and committed to providing a learning platform for young people so they can explore Digital Technology (Coding, Video editing, Virtual Reality, 3D Design, Photoshop, etc) and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Maths) projects which in turn will hopefully help them meet some of the below-desired aims. • Encourage young people to explore the tools that DigiWiz offer so they can identify their strengths within Digital Technology and STEAM subjects • To address the serious gaps which exist in STEAM areas of the education system • To inspire the creative, inventive and imaginative aspects of an individual • Learn how the digital world works in a constructive way and how it can be used for more than social media and video games. • Develop young people’s critical thinking, creativity and social skills through the use of digital technology and STEAM projects. • To harness all that interest and passion young people have for Digital Technology and turn that optimism into a productive learning view of how to use Digital Technology within their formal and informal education. • To offer an insight into what is involved within STEAM and Digital Technology fields so young people get a first-hand view on what future careers may entail and thus get them thinking about which paths they may like to take when deciding on future careers and when choosing college courses. • Inspire young people to love and use Digital Technology and STEAM subjects in a productive way so they can become the future generation of Scientists, Technologists, Engineers, Artists and Mathematicians. • Give those young people that prefer to learn visually (spatial) and physical (kinaesthetic) a great chance to learn in a way that is more suited to them which should help them tap into their strengths. • To educate young people on how to use the internet safely alone and raise their awareness on how the dangers of the internet and social media can pose a huge threat.
